Dr. Mustafa Ali Sabri is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist at Swift Day Surgical Center in Dubai, UAE. With decades of dedicated practice, he has become a leading figure in gastroenterology, renowned for his expertise in both diagnostic and interventional procedures and his commitment to medical education and patient care.

Dr. Sabri completed his MBBS at Rostov Medical University, Russia, followed by an MD in Internal Medicine from the Jordan Medical Council in Amman. He further enhanced his qualifications by obtaining MRCP from the UK and FRCP from both London and Edinburgh. His credentials also include an Endoscopic Ultrasound certificate from Marseille, France.

He began his career as a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Al Bashir Hospital in Amman, Jordan. Since relocating to the UAE, he has spent almost three decades at Rashid Hospital under the Dubai Health Authority, serving as a Consultant Gastroenterologist. In addition, he maintains a private practice in Dubai and currently holds a position as Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at Dubai Medical University.

Dr. Sabri’s clinical expertise covers the full spectrum of digestive system diseases, including conditions affecting the oesophagus, stomach, intestines, colon, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. He specializes in treating Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease, Peptic Ulcer, Ulcerative Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Functional Dyspepsia, Obesity, Viral, Autoimmune, and Fatty Liver Diseases, Pancreatic diseases and tumours, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Malabsorption, and Gastrointestinal bleeding. He is proficient in advanced gastroenterology procedures such as upper and lower endoscopy, capsule endoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound, including fine-needle aspiration and pancreatic collection evacuation.

A dedicated medical educator, Dr. Sabri has presented at global conferences and actively contributes to professional societies, including the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), the Jordanian Society of Gastroenterology, and the Emirates Medical Association. He previously served as General Secretary of the Emirates Gastroenterology and Hepatology Society and as a Governing Board member of the Middle East and North Africa Endosonography Association (MENA).

Fluent in Arabic, English, and Russian, Dr. Sabri is passionate about patient-centered care and medical teaching. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys gardening and reading.
